Hey everyone! Today I am happy :D You know why? Because of you guys. I am sorry for not having responded to all your messages on Facebook and all your comments here, but I did not know what to tell you guys. Everyone kept begging me to return, and I did not have an answer for you right then and there. The moment has come for me to thank you all, and tell you how much you inspire me. The message below is for you to read, and for haters to hate and the video to demonstrate what made me regret my decision and to say THANK YOU. It's true what they say, you only live once and if this is what I like, I will do it and promise to stop caring about whoever tries to bring me down. I opened this blog to inspire, but I notice that I am the one being inspired day by day. You guys have made me believe that there is hope for this country, and hate should not be louder than love. I love you, and will see you soon. Until then, keep being the positive people that you are and have a wonderful end to the summer Dritan Hoxha's daughter, L.H
Hello everyone! Opening this blog, I made a promise to write and inform you everyday about my fashion choices and lifestyle and I have found support in most of you who have followed me and written to me everyday. I appreciate every compliment and honest criticism that I have read, and what I have to tell you is bittersweet for me. As much as I have loved the positive things that came with me opening this blog, I have hated the negatives that have come with it. I thought I was going to like the attention given to me because of my fashion sense, but I am realizing this is not the reason why I am ever going to get any attention from this country. I am realizing my identity is being ignored, and it's being replaced with "someone's daughter" and that is not how I want to be called for the rest of my life, as that "someone" would never want that to be the case. My blog is not being taken as a fashion blog, but as a gossip source for the so called "journalists" of Albania, and it's affecting my life and my close ones. Therefore, I have decided to move on and stop posting. I am so sorry for everyone who related to me and followed me everyday, and I am sorry if in a way or another I let you down. I will continue to post on my Instagram and on my Facebook page, like I have done before I had the blog, so if you want to keep "following" me you know where to find me. I hate to quit things at their best, but I hope this is the right decision. This doesn't mean I am quitting because I have too much of a strong character to do that. It only means this wasn't the right thing for me, and I am hoping for better things. If I regret this, I will be back! Until then, I wish you all the best and THANK YOU.
Dip dyed hair has been an urban trend for a couple of years now, but according to Vogue, Prada's fall runway and campaign just catapulted this trend to high fashion making it a must do trend of fall. Hairstylist Guido Palau worked straight hair on the models adding hair extensions of different colors and shades to create the dip dye look, and the models looked amazing. I loved urban feel it added to such a classy and sophisticated label.
I have always loved experimenting with hair as you may have noticed and I have gone from blonde to red to brunette to everything in between. I have also tried dip dye, with my tips being lighter than my roots, but nothing more than that. Although, my sister Sara has tried it doing platinum blonde tips with pink temporary dye. The dye washed out in two weeks but the effect was great that is why I am positive that I am going to follow this trend soon. What color do you think I should go for? Check out some amazing style I loved and let me know if you'd ever try it!
Also, check out Bleach hair salon's blog for the coolest dip dyes and hair coloring here. This is where Sara done her hair and if you're in London and thinking about coloring your tips this is the place to go!
I usually hate rain, but today was the most beautiful and peaceful day because of it. After so much heat, we finally had some drops which refreshed the weather so much that it got cold and I got to wear some layers. Don't you all think you can do so much more with clothes in the winter time because you can layer and put on more pieces? In the summer all you want to wear is nothing because of the unbearble heat. Anyway, this was my thought of today.
I wore a simple and comfortable outfit, with a cool shirt I bought at my favorite store in Roma called Niki Nika (If you ever happen to go there, you have to go to this store!!). My sister hates this top claiming it looks like a pajama top, but I love the tacky feel to it. The top's general idea is imitating logos of different designers; if you see closely you can tell the monogram and design of Louis Vuitton, YSL, Givenchy, and some skulls in between. What is your opinion?
